About Us
  As President of the Delta Collaborative, Dr. Pamela Shaheen is a highly-regarded health care consultant and coach who helps her clients effectively manage change so they can thrive in today’s health care environment. With more than 30 years of experience in health care administration and consulting, Dr. Shaheen specializes in policy development, strategic planning, program design and implementation, change management, and leadership development.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Shaheen has worked with government organizations at the federal, state and local levels, national and community foundations, and a range of nonprofit organizations.

Dr. Shaheen earned her B.S. in Human Ecology and Communication Arts from Michigan State University, her MPH in Public Health Planning and Administration from the University of Michigan, and her Dr.PH as a Pew Scholar at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Dr. Shaheen was trained as a co-active coach by the Coach Training Institute and is a certified physician development coach. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, Professional Coaches Association of Michigan Academy Health, American College of Health Care Executives, The World Future Society, National Association of Women Business Owners, and Inforum.

  David Chinsky brings over 25 years of experience to his role as business advisor and executive coach. He specializes in coaching physicians and healthcare leaders seeking to become more agile, effective and energetic. Chinsky has held executive positions in operations, customer service, product development and human resources at several companies, including Trinity Health, Ford Motor Company, Nestle, Thomson Reuters and Watson Wyatt Worldwide.

Chinsky received his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Public Health degrees from the University of Michigan, his MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and his Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Illinois. He holds a Certificate in Strategic Planning for Healthcare Organizations from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Human Resource Executive Program.

Chinsky is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and a Certified Physician Development Coach, and is credentialed by the International Coach Federation. He is also a member of the International Consortium of Coaching in Organizations, the International Coach Federation, the National Speakers Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

 
  Barry Demp is a highly successful business and executive coach who has helped more than 1,000 individuals over the past 15 years. Demp earned the distinction of Master Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation. He works with executives, business owners, and high-potential professionals to help them increase performance, productivity, profitability, and life balance.

Demp’s workshops, seminars, speaking engagements, and customized coaching programs foster a comprehensive and holistic approach to individual and organizational development through assuring practical applications on both professional and personal levels. His customized coaching programs range from small entrepreneurial ventures to a variety of projects with mid-sized and large organizations.

Demp is a board member of the Professional Coaches Association of Michigan and spends much of his time helping individuals and organizations master the leadership, management, communication, and coaching skills needed in today’s competitive and rapidly changing world. He conducts workshops and speaks frequently to groups in Michigan on coaching, leadership, management, mastering successful relationships, sales effectiveness, and life-balance issues.

 
  Dr. Sara Miller is a leader in the field of coaching physicians who are labeled as disruptive. She is founder and president of True North Coaching. She brings into her role as a physician leadership coach, over 20 years of experience in university teaching and research as well as state program development and leadership for a federal health initiative.

Her clients include professors and clinicians from Gunter India Medical University, Yale University Medical School, University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, Heartland Regional Health Systems, Saint Joseph Mercy Health Systems, Henry Ford Hospital, Karmanos Hospital, Harper Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Wayne State University Medical School, and Emergency Physician Group.

Dr. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Colorado State University and her Master of Science and Doctorate of Education in Human Development from the University of Arkansas. She is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and a Certified Physician Development Coach. Dr. Miller is credentialed by the International Coach Federation and was actively involved in co-creating the Professional Coaches Association of Michigan.
